Email, Google & Outlook
Current release · Updated October 2, 2026
Connect an SMTP/IMAP mailbox or authorize native Google and Microsoft access.
SMTP with optional IMAP
In Connections, choose Email/SMTP. Enter sender email, public hostname, SMTP port 465 (TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS), username and password/app password. Certificate validation is required. If you want reply detection, add IMAP host/user/password; IMAP uses TLS port 993. Save verifies access without sending a test email. SMTP without IMAP can send but cannot detect mailbox replies.
Native Google and Outlook
Choose Connect Google or Connect Outlook and finish provider consent using the account that started it. Mailbox authorization is separate from DryKraft login. Google needs Gmail send, Gmail read-only and email profile access. Outlook needs Mail.Send, Mail.Read, User.Read and offline_access. Offline refresh access is required. Cancellation returns to Connections; restart there if the ten-minute connection request expires.
Administrators deploying DryKraft must configure GOOGLE_OAUTH_CLIENT_ID/SECRET and MS_OAUTH_CLIENT_ID/SECRET privately. Register https://app.drykraft.com/api/outreach/oauth/google/callback and https://app.drykraft.com/api/outreach/oauth/microsoft/callback exactly with the respective provider apps. The existing callbacks were requested for registration; real consent and mailbox sends have not yet been verified in this deployment. Credentials being configured alone does not prove consent is ready.
Replies and unsubscribe
Reply sync checks up to 50 recent headers about every five minutes, matches exact message ID plus sender, and only matches deliveries within 30 days. Google reads a seven-day inbox window. Use Sync replies when checking a connection. Matching replies stop future sequence work; unrelated mail does not.
Messages include unsubscribe links and one-click unsubscribe headers. The link confirmation names the company/channel and applies only to that workspace/channel. Open/click/bounce tracking and automatic invoice email delivery are not part of this release. Provider sending limits and mailbox consent requirements still apply.
