Sales pipelines & deals

Current release · Updated October 2, 2026

Track opportunities from a named stage to a won or lost decision.

Configure stages

Owners and administrators configure pipelines and up to 30 stages. Give each stage a distinct ID/name, probability from 0-100 and color. Move deals to retained stages before removing a used stage. Pipeline probability is a configured field, not a forecast guarantee.

Create and move an opportunity

Create a deal with name, company, related person, value/currency, pipeline and stage, status, expected close date and owner. Use the sales board or record editor to update the stage. When a pipeline is selected, its stage must belong to that pipeline. Open, Won and Lost are deal status values. Keep stage and status consistent with the actual decision.

Follow through on won and lost deals

Mark a closed success Won and capture Lost reason where appropriate. A newly won deal emits an event that can start a published workflow, including a reviewed invoice draft template. Winning does not itself issue an invoice or collect payment. Pipeline totals separate denominations; use a dashboard for a specific currency question.
